Idea Development- Moodboards

Emily:

The moodboard outilines the main requirements of the physical narrative. The clothing, as illustrated, for a comedy narrative is usually a mixture of the formal business suits and then the more casual clothing. These can be sourced in personal clothing choices or at local charity shops, as can the props. This is because the props are generally household items. The locations are also fairly everyday also, to which we can utilise our own personal resources.

Thomas:

These are my mood-board that expresses the potential 'Geek' costumes, the locations, props used and the female clothing. All these ideas stem  from earlier research in my Textual Analysis, specifically looking at the 'Inbetweeners' film. Therefore, looking at my mood-boards, they provide similar connotations to the 'Inbetweeners' film. Also, the props used, specifically Alcohol is a typical prop used throughout many comedy films. This was highlighted in both my Textual Analysis and Genre research.

Jakes-

My Moodboard features a lot of the potential things that i have gathered from my textual analysis and genre research into the comedy genre.
Alot of the things on my mood board are the total opposites of each other, for example, Topman and Cancer Research, The attractive teenager and the Geek. This is to represent the over-the-top character stereotypes that are often found in comedy films which i believe would suit our film trailer very well.
Another thing which i noticed may take part ina  lot of teenage based films is Alcohol, at some point they are trying to impress somone and get invited to a party where they will be needing alocohol, thats when they are faced with the problem of being underage. This then leads to a funny storyline of them trying to get the alcohol causing many problems for them.
A great example of this is in the film superbad, where 3 teenagers who are all at the bottom of the social ladder try and get alcohol which then leads them into some hilarious, over the top situations!
