Potential first ideas


We plan on using a mix of both non diegetic and diegetic sound, most of the diegetic sound which will feature from our trailer will be dialogue and background noise from the characters and the location. The non diegetic sound will be soundtracks which will accompany the trailer shots.

We have gathered a few ideas of what types of tracks we would would like in our trailer.






Something like this would accompany the montage of the geeks 'getting on up' which would add to the comic affect of this particular collection of shots.







Here a few examples of the type of soundtrack and sound affects we will be using in our trailer:

All of these ideas came form watching other trailers for films of a similar narrative/genre.
A good example of this is in the trailer of Johnny english reborn, when the character is 'back in action' the eye of the tiger begins to play and creates a comic feel to the trailer, mocking the character.
Other sound trakc sideas came from trailers like Drilbit Tailor, Superbad, fired up, Year one,angyes thongs and perfect snogging,
